Hannah Rowan
Artist Profile
Hannah Rowan has created two limited edition prints ‘Splitting, Calving, Melting’ and ‘Lithification’. The prints connect to her wider interest in the relationship between the slow geological time of natural processes and the fast paced, technology-driven activity of humans. Rowan forms intricate connections between diverse elements in her work. She often incorporates water, playing on its fluidity in relation to more solid components. Alchemy, astronomy and geology are continued sources of inspiration. Hannah Rowan received her Masters in Sculpture from Royal College of Art, London (2018) and her BA in Fine Art from Central Saint Martins, London (2012).
