Artist Profile

Californian artist Lydia Boehm has created a bold and graphic limited edition print entitled ‘Risky’ which captures the energy of her painting style. In her painting practice she uses colour expressively to create dramatic visual and emotional impact. Incorporating diverse references, ranging from the familiar motifs of cowboys to plants from the Californian landscape, her paintings often emerge out of personal experience and reflect on her native American culture. Lydia Boehm is a graduate of Royal College of Art (MA Painting, 2018) and Oberlin College (BA Painting/Art History, 2013). In 2019 she was awarded the Jealous Prize.
