Created in her trademark graphic style, Milly Peck’s prints explore her recent interest in Foley sound effects - the recreation of everyday sounds that are added in post-production to film, video, and other media. After spending time at a Foley studio, Peck became fascinated by the bank of props that the studio holds and how these are used and reused to create a range of diverse and often unexpected sounds. Her prints isolate the hand gestures of the Foley artists and explore this space of fakery and imitation whilst making use of the vivid colours available with riso inks. The print is available to collect from Ellipsis Prints in a limited edition of 100.
