May Hands’ print editions feature the familiar pieces of everyday urban detritus she collects from the street. The artist incorporates discarded pieces of packaging and wrapping alongside organic materials and in doing so she draws attention to their aesthetic properties, transforming them into objects worthy of attention. In this print edition, the artist has sought to regiment the detritus that appears scattered across her other print. They work well as a pair.
